Folks,

As AERO's staff, we owe our program ingenuity and longevity to you, our members - you who write us letters of encouragement, you who attend county commission meetings and talk about what the future could be, you who often stand alone in thought and deed on the subject of how communities might change for the betterment of all.

Years ago a group of pioneers sat on a porch in eastern Montana and came up with the ideals that set the course for AERO. Those ideals included the commitment to "solution-oriented", "community-based", and "membership-driven" action. We try hard to maintain the ideals set forth by the original cast of thinkers by staying in tune with AERO members. We welcome your comments, ideas, and participation at every level of our work.
