Timeless Seeds Project Capstone Event

Timeless Seeds Senior Project Capstone Presentation at MSU

Tuesday, December 13, 2011
8:45 – 9:45 a.m. followed by reception
308 Herrick Hall
MSU Campus

In the Winter of 2010, Timeless Seeds, Inc. launched an effort we have named CSI: Timeless–A Comprehensive Sustainability Initiative. The purpose of the endeavor is to systematically examine the extent of our current social and environmental impact, to develop a logical continuous improvement approach within a sustainability reporting framework, and to embark upon a conscientious and pro-active corporate responsibility strategy.
Thanks to a collaborative effort between MSU’s Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems Program and the Food Trade Sustainability Leadership Association, the first step has been taken by collecting baseline data and making recommendations for our business in 11 critical categories. The Senior Class will be presenting their research on Dec. 13 as part of their graduation requirements.

As valued friends, colleagues, growers, and customers we invite you to join in celebrating the accomplishments of the class and their participation in our CSI effort.

There will be an all-organic reception following the Capstone Presentation catered by the Belgrade High School ProStart Culinary Team and honoring the first Sustainable Food & Bioenergy Systems Graduating Class:

Immediately following Capstone Presentation

Note: Timeless was proud to be a supporter of  last year’s ProStart Culinary Team, who took a winning recipe –which included our Petite Crimson Lentils– all the way to the National Competition!  (cf. Bozeman Chronicle article for background on ProStart http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/news/article_7877fb58-61a0-11e0-89da-001cc4c002e0.html).  We’re especially excited about the Team’s participation in the Capstone event since it connects yet another generation to the importance and opportunities of local and organic food.
