2017 Earth Day Expo

Earth Day Expo, 2017

AERO, The Carroll College Environmental Program, Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) are partners in hosting the 2017 Helena Earth Day Expo for the second year in a row.  (Check out news coverage from last year’s event here!)

The Expo will be held outdoors at Carroll College’s Physical Education Center (which will serve as the event’s rain site) on Sunday, April 23 from 11am to 3pm. The Expo will feature local organizations, agencies, and businesses, food trucks, live music including the local band Dogjam, workshops throughout the day varying from Composting 101 to Grassroots Organizing, and more!

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Multiple local organizations including Exploration Works and MT Fish Wildlife & Parks’ Montana Wild Education Center will provide a variety of children’s activities. The Expo also offers a unique opportunity to recycle electronics through Helena Industries’ Big Sky E-Recycling Program.
