Whitefish Community Garden provides raised bed gardens for individuals and families to cultivate organic vegetables and supports Whitefish North Valley Food Bank with harvest from the garden. In addition to the 43 beds for families, individuals, and scholarships, we plant beds to provide fresh produce to the North Valley Food Bank. Our members volunteer 6 hours per season to the garden’s upkeep and maintenance (outside of their own beds) in addition to assisting with the weekly food bank harvest. In addition to our raised beds, we have community beds of asparagus, berries, herbs, flowers, and an orchard with apples, cherries, and plums. Our mission is to grow food and cultivate community.
