Montana Organic Association Farm Tour

June 17, 2011 – Mark Bruckner Farms in Malta, Montana.

Join the Montana Organic Association on a tour of Mark Bruckner’s farm near Malta, MT. Mark farms 3,400 dry land acres, mainly raising rye, wheat, other cereal grains, and nitrogen-fixing crops. Certified organic since 1999, Mark has used a common sense approach to dealing with weeds and soil fertility, and has a lot of good practical advice, for both transitioning and established organic grain farmers. Come and listen to Mark, network with the organic community, and visit with those who have like minded interest in organic dry land farming.
