Clean Energy Events – Sept. 9 & 11

AERO, MREA, and The Pew Charitable Trusts are co-sponsoring a series of clean energy events on Sept 9 and 11 in Missoula and the Bitterroot.  See below for details.  Hope you can make one or more of the events.  Note that an RSVP is required for the tour and reception on Sept 11.


Clean energy markets are large and growing – globally, nationally and in Montana. Public policy plays an important role in keeping this progress moving forward. The right policies can drive innovation, investment, and economic growth.

Wednesday, September 11th, 12:30-5:30 pm
AERO Energy Tour
Featuring: Huls Dairy’s methane digester and combined heat and power system (with Taylor Woods, CEO of Cencom); Habitat for Humanity home with energy efficient design and a solar PV system (with project architect Meghan Hanson, project manager Rick Wiesemann, and SBS-Solar project manager Dan Brandborg); Ten Spoon Vineyard + Winery solar PV system (with Andy Sponseller, owner of Ten Spoon)
Bus will depart from Park Place Parking Garage (corner of E Front and S Pattee Streets) at 12:30pm and return at 4:40pm. People will be responsible for their own transportation to Ten Spoon.
