Registration is Open for Expo!

We are thrilled to host our 2023 Expo Conference and Annual Meeting in Helena on October 20-21st. Our very first gathering in 1974 led to AERO’s establishment as a 501(c)(3) grassroots public benefit organization. It was an opportunity to share information and ideas on issues that mattered to Montanans, with the goal of finding practical solutions that work. Nearly 50 years later, that tradition continues.

This year, we’re exploring ways to build whole-community engagement with local food, stewardship agriculture and renewable energy, showcasing the innovative work and ideas of Montanans helping to “move the needle” around the state. We will explore our theme through community tours, panels, demonstrations, and group discussions. We value your participation, ideas, and collaboration as we work together to make change and ensure a bright future for all Montanans. 

Expo is also a time of celebration! Join us at the Holter Museum of Art for our Friday night potluck (bring a dish!) and annual Cake Auction (bring a cake!). Afterwards, we will hold a reception celebrating the life and legacy of AERO founder Wilbur Wood, who passed away this spring. On Saturday, we’ll pick up on the Carroll College campus. Between sessions, we offer plenty of time to mingle and make connections, and we will finish off our weekend with a happy hour and evening after-party downtown!
