Get Ready for MOA’s Summer Farm Tours!

MOA’s Farm Tour Committee has gathered some great opportunities for walking the land that grows our food and experiencing the impact of thoughtful, caring land stewardship.  All tours are free. AERO is a proud co-sponsor. Coming up:

• June 9:  Vilicus Farms, North of Havre.  Doug Crabtree and Anna Crabtree-Jones
• July 6:    4M Farms Tour, near Malta.   Cliff and Anna Merriman
• September (tbd): Bitterroot Farm Tour

Registration is now open for Vilicus Farms. Tour limited to 60 participants. 

Vilicus Farms, a nationally recognized first generation, organic, dryland crop farm, is Doug and Anna’s manifested vision of organic agricultural land stewardship on a scale that matters. Today Vilicus Farms is a 9,600-acre organic farming operation focused on cultivating a conservation-based ethic for sustainable food production while also training beginning farmers on Montana’s Northern Great Plains.
