For 50 years, AERO’s goal has been to promote a more sustainable Montana for all. We’ve done a lot:
promote the education, development and implementation of alternative energy resources; educate and promote sustainable community and transportation design; educate and promote the development and implementation of stewardship farming practices and local food access resources to create a sustainable food supply for Montanans today and in the future.
Today, the biggest danger threatening the well-being of Montana citizens is the precariousness of our food access. The best use of our legacy, resources, and skills today is is focusing our efforts for a nourished, food secure Montana for today and future generations. Our legacy members agree.
On this page folks across the state share actions they are taking and how they are participating in #FutureGenMT. If you would like to share your work on this page, please reach out to us at getintouch@aeromt.org.
#FutureGenMT is inspired by the book #FutureGen: Lessons from a Small Country by Jane Davidson. This book details how Wales passed the Well-Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act of 2015, the first country in the world to do so.
