At AERO, we believe in a future in which Montana is powered with clean, renewable energy, empowered by a collaborative network of resilient communities, and where all Montanans are nourished by locally produced, sustainably grown food. If you are looking for an impactful way of putting your passion into service, look no further! 

AERO is now accepting applications for our Board of Directors for 2023-2025! The AERO Board provides strategic leadership and support to achieve AERO’s mission. Board members can expect to commit around 4-10 hours a month depending on roles that board members volunteer to take on. For this election cycle, we are seeking nominations for candidates with experience and perspectives in the following areas:

• Fundraising/non-profit financial management 
• Farming/ranching (i.e. Abundant Montana listers; folks who have an ag background or who are currently producers themselves!)
• Represent the following geographic regions of Montana (Eastern, Billings/Miles City are, Southwest, Northwest)
• Faculty at Montana institutions (e.g. University of Montana, Montana State University, Salish Kootenai College) with research interests and experience in food systems, renewable energy, and sustainability
