Montana Food Providers Project Progress Report May 2020 - “Together we build community.”

Since its launch one month ago, and with your support, this partnership project, spearheaded by Montana Organic Association (MOA) and AERO and dedicated to procuring and delivering quality MT grown and processed foods to Montanans in need, has provided to:

MT Food Bank Network:

  • 2500 lbs of lentils  from Timeless Seeds (50 25-lb bags of Organic Green Lentils and 50 25-lb bags of Organic Harvest Gold Lentils)
  • 12 cases of organic safflower oil, from The Oil Barn
  • 4,000 pounds of whole wheat flour, milled by Montana Milling and bagged by Lake County Community Development Corporation was delivered to Montana Food Bank Network pantries. Livingston Food Resource Center ordered 1,500 pounds that they baked into fresh whole grain sandwich loaves and distributed to the Livingston and other Yellowstone Area community pantries.

Red Paint Community Food Coop at Hayes/Lodgepole:

  • 250 lbs grass fed ground beef, from Rising Trout Cafe
