The Greater Billings Area stakeholders participating in AERO’s Community Food System Assessment work (CFSA) have put together three surveys to better understand the current resources and needs of their community.
These three surveys seek to gather information from individuals, organizations, and businesses who buy and/or sell food in the Greater Billings Area (GBA), which they have defined as comprising the Yellowstone, Carbon, Stillwater, Golden Valley, Musselshell, Rosebud, Treasure, and Big Horn (excluding Crow Agency) counties. (If you primarily purchase/sell food in Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena, Missoula, etc., these surveys are not for you.)
We want to hear from YOU! As someone who cares about the well-being of your community, and if you buy and/or sell food in the Greater Billings Area counties, please participate in the surveys that apply to you!
Each survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and can be anonymous. Your participation is voluntary and you may choose to withdraw at any time. Your responses will only be used for this project and will not be shared with any third party. Surveys close on March 31st, 2024.
In 2022, with funding from Western SARE, AERO’s MT Food Economy Initiative (MFEI) embarked on a 3-year project to facilitate in-depth community food system assessments with stakeholders in three communities:
The goal of the program is to help stakeholders in each of these communities lead their own inquiry into the state of their local food system and opportunities for improving it; as well as develop resources and networks for taking action as a cohort.
Please share this invitation with colleagues and friends in the community.
For questions about the surveys or about the project, please email AERO’s MFEI Program Manager, Michal DeChellis, at mfei@aeromt.org
Thank you for your support of AERO and MFEI!
